Job Description:
HarwardMedia is looking for a creative Social Media Manager. This person will take charge to ensure all social media channels and platforms appropriately represent multiple existing brands, as well as new and expanding ones along with encourage positive interactions with new and current customers and influencer contacts. The Social Media Manager will work closely with the marketing directors to create and promote a strong social media presence.

Required:
- Knowledgeable about Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and Snapchat.
- At least 1 year of social media management experience preferred
- Ability to deliver creative content
- Detail Oriented
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Must be experienced with Apple iOS and MacOS
- Some experience with graphic design, Photoshop experience is a plus
- Knowledge of the latest trends relating to social media
- Digital Marketing Experience Preferred
- Familiar with social media scheduling and management
Responsibilities:
- Managing the company's brands on social media
- Overseeing communications with followers and ensuring queries are responded to in a timely manner by working closely with our existing remote comment monitoring team
- Building a social media presence by maintaining a solid online presence
- Generate, edit, publish, and share engaging content
- Write clever and captivating captions for social posts.
- Help increase a following on all social media platforms
- Manage and create affiliate partnerships
- Using social media marketing tools to create and maintain the company's brands
- Working with marketing team to develop social media marketing campaigns
- Analyzing the company's digital marketing plan and develop a social media strategy – provide feedback, make recommendations, and identify weaknesses
- Identifying, recognizing, and researching upcoming social media trends and informing management of changes that are relevant to the company's marketing activities
- Working with marketing leads to set key performance indicators (KPIs) specific to social media campaigns and measuring a campaign's performance against the KPIs.
- Coming up with new ideas and strategies for altering campaigns to meet KPIs
- Regular reporting to leadership on social media engagement including reviews and feedback from customers
- Developing an optimal posting schedule, considering web traffic and customer engagement metrics & ensuring team members are prepped for responding to comments and DMs in a timely manner including outside of business hours.
- Train coworkers to use social media in a cohesive and way to complement existing ad types
- Suggest new ways to attract prospective customers, like promotions and competitions
