Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Crosstrain in wall, floor and truss areas as needed
- Read and follow blueprints and diagrams
- Operate and monitor semi-automated equipment
- Lift, move and maneuver various sizes of wood and raw materials
- Load raw materials into machinery and move finishes pieces to framing and sheeting areas as needed
- Inspect both raw materials and finished products for quality
- Work in a fast-paced environment
Work Hours
1st Shift - 40 hours/week
Monday - Friday; 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
Compensation and Benefits
- Starting Wage - $18.50/hour (pay increases up to $21.53/hour based on performance and training progress)

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Maintain Wausau Homes core values (Integrity, Humility, Stewardship, Work Ethic, Passion)
- Basic math and reading skills
- Ability to utilize hand tools
- Ability to read blueprints (construction/carpentry knowledge a plus, but not required)
- Able to lift up to 50lbs on a regular basis and climb up and down ladders as needed
- Ability to diagnose and correct errors.
- Computer skills Microsoft suite
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior production and/or construction knowledge preferred
