Clinic Nurse Manager, Infusion/Medical Oncology

The Clinic Nurse Manager is an experienced clinical leader responsible for managing assigned areas (Surgical and Radiation) and other services within the Cancer Program, supervising assigned patient care personnel during clinic operations. The Clinic Nurse Manager is responsible to ensure the safe and effective delivery of patient care and clinical outcomes, compliance with regulatory, administrative and clinical standards, policies and procedures. The Clinic Nurse Manager is seen as an expert in clinical oncology topics and is proficient in personnel management and directs care to meet the unit demands in an efficient and cost-effective manner, as well as assisting with clinic budget management. This position reports to the Executive Director Cancer Center and takes clinical direction from the Program's Medical Director. Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of New Jersey. Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) required, a Master's Degree (MSN) preferred. A minimum of five (5) years of nursing experience required, of which at least two (2) years shall have been oncology nursing experience. BLS (CPR) is required. Certification as a Certified Oncology Nurse (OCN) is desirable and required within two (2) years of hire. Must have the ability to lead a team and maintain maximum effectiveness and efficiency. Strong oral and written communication skills, and exceptional customer service skills required. Must have the ability to organize and prioritize multiple issues for resolution. Bilingual skills preferred. Prior experience with clinical supervision/leadership and participation on a multidisciplinary team is preferred.
