The Opportunity:
The Senior Revenue Integrity analyst audits and examines charge capture data and all revenue monitoring functions/reports/work queues for multiple clients. This role is responsible for creating, maintaining, and standardizing the department training program and for developing training material and handouts. The Senior analyst serves as the subject matter expert for RI team and is responsible for coordinating and conducting training sessions and serve as a resource for new hire and existing staff. This role is also responsible for conducting monthly quality checks to ensure staff meet the department standards and to identify opportunities for improvement. Senior analysts are responsible for conducting charge audits as requested by our clients and by management.

Responsibilities:
- Serve as subject matter expert for RI staff to answer questions & help ensure timely resolution of identified issues.
- Responsible for training new hires and on going training for existing staff. Maintain a thorough understanding and working knowledge of charge capture and billing rules and hospital revenue cycle operations.
- Responsible for developing a robust educational program to keep RI team abreast of all regulatory changes and for identifying learning gaps pertaining to CPT code changes, charge capture practices, and other government payers rules and regulations.
- Create and maintain training materials and handouts.
- Conduct monthly quality checks by selecting a random sample of accounts to review charge capture quality for Level I & II staff. Work with staff to correct identified issues.
- Collects, interprets, and communicates quality data and learning gaps to management.
- CRCR Certification or willingness to obtain within 6 months of hire
- 2-4 years previous experience in revenue integrity
- Previous team lead/leadership experience
