Aston Carter is hiring Customer Support Specialists in Gainesville, VA!
Schedule: Hybrid, (2 days in office 3 days at home)
Pay: $17-18/hr
Location: Local to Gainesville, VA
Hours: Monday-Friday 9:00 am to 6:00 pm.
Day to Day:
The Customer Support Specialist is assigned to a specific team and responsible for advancing order flow, answering questions from customers and internal staff, and removing roadblocks on orders. Duties include: gathering pertinent data points to place in orders, communicating with customers and vendors by phone and email, establishing strong relationships with customer contacts and vendors, conducting quality checks, dispatching to correct entity for movement, assessing vehicle condition, managing all repairs, understanding T&R functions, and assisting with any additional tasks and responsibilities as may be deemed necessary by management. This position functions during core business hours and allows for remote work in accordance with the Telecommuting Agreement.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITES, NOT LIMITED TO:
+ Effectively manage direct communication with customers, both FMCs as well as their clients.
+ Manage details of each request placing information in specific areas of the order to ensure full understanding of customer requirements.
+ Address questions and offer solutions to customers, both internal and external, using sound judgement to resolve issues, reduce delays and enhance the customer experience.
+ Monitor and manage team dashboard and views to complete tasks and keep orders moving.
+ Manage processes to completion, participating in all order phases to ensure customer satisfaction.
+ Negotiate transportation, registration and repair issues and solutions with customers.
+ Organize daily activities to ensure completion through provided tools. Respond to emails promptly and courteously, within the industry standard of 4 hours.
+ Provide exceptional customer service by developing professional working relationships with clients, field offices, co-workers and vendors and following all standard processes to completion.
+ Accurately complete all assignments that management deems necessary to advance the Company's daily business needs and operations.
+ Demonstrate the ability to perform activities inherent to the department's responsibilities and assist when necessary to keep service delivery on track.
+ Conform with and abide by all regulations, policies, work procedures and instructions.
+ Demonstrate reliable and predictable attendance.
Skills & Qualifications:
+ Candidates must have a working printer at home and high speed internet.
+ Candidates must have their own computer/laptop (remote candidates) - MINIMUM Windows 10, MacBook's are OK. NO CHROMEBOOKS.
+ Experience with MS Office (Excel, Word)
+ This is a fast paced position.
+ Seeking for those that have worked and has a customer service background with some clerical experience if at all possible.
