Oral Health Industries/Texas Dentistry is seeking a Dental Receptionist/Patient Coordinator for our Texas Dentistry for Kids Mesquite location. The perfect candidate should have the ability to perform check in/check out procedures efficiently. This candidate should be friendly, outgoing, and have the ability to lead the office when the Operations Manager is out. This individual will need to be able to communicate effectively, be a fast learner, and have great customer service. They will need to be responsible, reliable, and trustworthy. This position does requires one Saturday a month.

Dental Receptionist/Patient Coordinator Requirements:

  • 6 months to 2 years experience front office experience
  • Comfortable with MCO's and PPO's insurances
  • Treatment plan presentation is a plus
  • One Saturday a month

Dental Receptionist/Patient Coordinator Job Duties:

  • Treatment Plans/Charges- Make sure that treatment plan charges are accurate, and posses the ability to close treatment cases
  • Partners with the Operations Manager to ensure office is running smoothly
  • Works the schedule to ensure the scheduling goals are met daily
  • Lead morning huddle meetings, assign duties as needed
  • Partners with Back Office Lead and Operations Manager on training team members
  • Leads by example. Able to communicate effectively with team members and has respect of employees.
  • Checks in and check out patients, handle front office duties
  • Confirm calls and verify insurances
