Job Description

der the direct supervision of a pharmacist, selects, prepares and packages medications and supplies in preparation for shipment to patients. Performs record keeping functions. Assists in various inventory control processes.

Must be able to stand for duration of shift (8-10 hours). Must be able to repeatedly lift 5-10 lbs. for duration of shift. Must be able to occasionally lift up to 30-50 lbs. during a shift. Reaching and grasping objects at various levels is required. While performing the essential functions of this job, the employee is required to utilize a keyboard and operate departmental machinery. Employee regularly works near and around moving machinery (conveyor belts).The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. The employee may be required to wear protective clothing or equipment.

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

Minimum: 17.00

Maximum: 27.90

Please keep in mind that this range represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual salary offer will take into account a wide range of factors, including location.

Required Qualifications

• 6 months of work experience as a pharmacy technician


• Active Tennessee Pharmacy Technician license

Preferred Qualifications

• Valid National Certification (PTCB or NHA)


• Experience working in fulfillment


• Experience working in Specialty Pharmacy
