While we are currently remote and all interviews will be done over the phone and through video calls, job activities will be conducted in a hybrid work environment - both remotely and in-person - for our Summer 2022 internship position. 




ROLE


ESM is looking for a Client Services Intern to join our growing team of digital media experts, strategists, buyers, marketers, and content developers for the Summer of 2022. You’ll be a part of a highly talented agency with exceptional leadership, and niche media experts.


 


The Client Services Intern will support the Client Services Team in all aspects of campaign management organization from launch, trafficking, and reporting. This role will also act as a liaison between the Account Management Team and Product Teams, working on the backend of all campaign operations. This person may also perform administrative tasks if requested. 


 


 


JOB DESCRIPTION


 



  • Develop an understanding of our business and agency workflow including our company structure, our products, and our people - both internal teams and external clients/ agencies. 

  • Participate in various product training to gain new knowledge and skillsets. Receive certifications in the highest regarded products in the industry including Facebook, Google, The TradeDesk, and Hubspot. 

  • Participate in training sessions to familiarize yourself with our primary CRM system, Salesforce. 

  • Learn the complete order process flow in Salesforce including how to open, maintain, and update a project stage, information, and campaign details. 

  • Communicate and work closely with the Account Management and Product Teams to understand the client or account background, expectations, strategy, project requirements, campaign flight dates, budget expectations, and margin targets.

  • Participate in pitch and project working sessions with the Client Services and Account Management Teams.

  • Assist in preparing deck presentations for client proposals to hand over to the Account Management Team to complete. 

  • Work with the Product and Account Management Teams to ensure accurate and on-time campaign trafficking, launch, pacing, and reporting.

  • Responsible for monitoring campaign pace and ensuring campaigns are hitting their goals and KPIs.

  • Learn the established client reporting cadences and an understanding of how we create, update, and deliver reports to clients. 

  • Work with Client Services and Account Management Teams to help generate invoices, secure client purchase orders, and manage client budgets.

  • Participate in brainstorming and planning sessions to develop strategic plans for existing clients and new business proposals.

  • Participate with the Client Services Team on input sessions, follow-up meetings, and status meetings with clients to ensure smooth campaign execution.

  • Perform other related administrative or organizational duties as required and assigned by the Client Services Team. 


 


QUALIFICATIONS





  • Desire to better understand the media landscape, media products, strategy, advertising, and marketing within an agency work environment. 

  • Strong working knowledge of MS Excel, Google Suite (Sheets, Slides, Docs, Drive), and operating in a Mac environment.

  • Understanding of any media products across digital, social, and traditional media- is a plus!

  • Exceptional communication, time management, attention to detail, proofreading, and organizational skills.

  • Curious, enthusiastic, and eager to learn - We want you to get the most out of this experience with us! 

  • Comfortable and willing to operate under a hybrid-work environment, working both remotely and in-person at our Hoboken office

  • Must be authorized to work in the US without visa sponsorship.
