While we are currently remote and all interviews will be done over the phone and through video calls, job activities will be conducted in a hybrid work environment - both remotely and in person - for our Summer 2022 internship position. 




ROLE


ESM is looking for an Account Management Intern to join our growing team of digital media experts, strategists, buyers, marketers, and content developers for the Summer of 2022. You’ll be a part of a highly talented agency with exceptional leadership, and niche media experts.


 


The Account Management Intern will support the Account Management Team in all aspects of day to day account responsibilities, communications with internal teams and clients, assisting in developing and managing campaign strategy and planning, and supporting members of the Account team by organizing and implementing client projects.This person may also perform administrative tasks if requested. 




JOB DESCRIPTION


 



  • Develop an understanding of ESM’s business and agency workflow, including company structure, our products, and our people - both internal teams and external clients/ agencies.

  • Participate in various product trainings to gain new knowledge and skill sets. Receive certifications in the highest regarded products in the industry including Facebook, Google, The TradeDesk, and Hubspot. 

  • Participate in client briefing sessions with the Account Management team to understand the ins and outs of our client portfolio - inclusive of key contact personnel, business and marketing goals, past and current campaigns, budget terms, and more core details. 

  • Provide support to the Account Management team, Client Services team, and Product team in the successful planning and execution for all assigned client projects and tasks. 

  • Attend calls with clients and internal teams to understand the overall communication cadence and how we collaborate with our clients to determine KPI’s to launch a successful media campaign. 

  • Assist on creating media plans and proposals that meet client goals and budgets. Tasks may include using research tools or competitive reports to gather market and audience data to support the media recommendation.

  • Work in tandem with the Account Management team to prepare for project launch. Ensure all project information is clearly communicated and outlined so that campaigns can be trafficked and executed to match the final media proposal or insertion order. 

  • Assist with client communications during the duration of all campaigns and monitor quality control. Effectively and promptly communicate campaign changes and media optimizations to internal teams while also controlling the narrative with the client. 

  • Support Account Executives on reporting tasks such as pulling key data metrics and reports from our DSPs or internal reporting tools, and writing key insights for monthly client reports.

  • Participate in brainstorming and planning sessions to develop strategic plans for existing clients and new business proposals.

  • Perform other related administrative or organizational duties as required and assigned by the Account Management Team. 





QUALIFICATIONS





  • Desire to better understand the media landscape, media products, strategy, advertising and marketing industry within an agency work environment. 

  • Strong working knowledge of MS Excel, Google Suite (Sheets, Slides, Docs, Drive) and operating in a Mac environment.

  • Understanding of any media products across digital, social, and traditional media- a plus!

  • Exceptional communication, time management, attention to detail, proofreading, and organizational skills.

  • Curious, enthusiastic, and eager to learn - We want you to get the most out of this experience with us! 

  • Comfortable and willing to operate under a hybrid-work environment, working both remotely and in-person at our Hoboken office

  • Must be authorized to work in the US without visa sponsorship.
