Job Duties:

We are presently seeking a College Intern with a passion for Tourism to join our team! This position is available to both Undergraduate and Graduate students.
  • Assists in overseeing Co-Op Advertising Program in TourismOhio Office.
  • Communicate with partners; analyze participation; develop communications;
  • Coordinate collection & review of partner advertising assets, perform project management, schedule meetings, manage timelines;
  • Develop weekly status call agendas;
  • Facilitate communications between advertising agencies;
  • Collaborate with external agency partners;
  • Assist in overseeing the development of advertising (e.g., print, digital, radio, TV) in a timely fashion;
  • Review creative materials;
  • Assist with developing PowerPoint presentations;
  • Partner with research vendor on research studies;
  • Respond to advertising inquiries;
  • Provide follow-up to industry partners;
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
Demonstrates commitment to customer service performance standards that are in alignment with the agency's promise to deliver service, support & solutions to customers.

Qualifications
  1. Must be currently enrolled in a degree program (preferably a junior, senior, or graduate level in marketing, communications, public relations, or journalism). Will be required to produce college transcript and current fee statement or class schedule.
  2. Ability to work at least 15 hours a week during school year
  3. Attention to detail
  4. Capacity to work independently & collaboratively
  5. Excellent verbal & written communication skills
  6. Flexibility to work on multiple projects; multitasking skills
  7. Prior work experiences in an office environment preferred
  8. Proficient with Microsoft office suite of products, specifically MS-Word, Outlook & Excel.
  9. Knowledge of Ohio geography & tourism is a plus.
