As a faculty member at Seattle Culinary Academy, you will be responsible for teaching sanitation and coffee-bar safety, basic history of espresso and beverages, equipment and tool recognition and uses, classic espresso and coffee-based beverages, mis en place and production for espresso and coffee-based beverages, basic procedures for opening and closing of a barista shift, customer service procedures and ordering, teamwork and time management, and business practices including cash handling and register reports.
As a faculty member, you will also have the opportunity to teach other classes in the future, as well as substituting for other faculty.
