Job Description
Avery Dennison’s North American Talent Acquisition Team is a strategic business partner focusing on identifying, recruiting, and selecting talent for our rapidly growing organization. In this role you will provide full life cycle recruiting support for the Talent Acquisition Team. This includes a high degree of organization and accuracy. You will focus on supporting hiring related transactions, monitoring of progress of candidates, communicating regularly with all stakeholders, resolving delays, and escalating issues, as needed to ensure a timely and smooth process for candidates, recruiters and hiring managers. The ideal candidate for the position will have passion for Talent Acquisition and the value it brings to the organization and will be customer service focused.
Responsibilities:
- The TA Coordinator has frequent interaction with candidates, hiring managers, new and existing employees, and is expected to contribute to a positive experience and first impression and as an ambassador of company’s culture to both internal and external contacts.
- Partner directly with Talent Acquisition Partners and Hiring Managers to coordinate interviews at a high volume and a fast pace.
- Manage expense reimbursement, offer letters, coordinating travel, onboarding, immigration sponsorship management and relocation processes as needed
- Facilitate and manage pre-employment background check process, including daily updates and monitoring to ensure efficient processing.
- Collect and process new-hire forms and ensure they are delivered to the appropriate HR partners and payroll, including management of sign on bonus payments
- Manage employee referral program and payment coordination with payroll
- Analyze talent acquisition systems and processes; recommend improvements. Including but not limited to, pre-employment background checking, ATS and posting resources.
- Prioritize, organize, and manage multiple priorities and projects efficiently
Qualifications
- At least 3 years of experience as a HR or Talent Acquisition coordinator, executive admin, customer service representative, or other applicable experience. Experience in Talent Acquisition is strongly preferred.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in coordination and scheduling
- Demonstrated experience and capability using Applicant Tracking systems strongly preferred
- Experience with google tools such as gmail and google calendar preferred
- Accustomed to multitasking and meeting multiple tight deadlines
- Must work well under pressure and be able to maintain composure and a positive outlook even when dealing with adversity
- Articulate, proactive and great communication skills
- Extremely organized, detail oriented, and a speedy learner
- Must be able to work occasional overtime as needed
- A team-player; always open to offer innovative and constructive ideas to continue our team's success
