WSP is currently initiating a search for a Government Relations Intern for our Los Angeles, CA office.


Your Impact


+ Assist in monitoring and writing reports on policy board meetings

+ Assist in coverage of Civic Engagment outreach, coordination of attendees and writing reports on presentations

+ Research, as needed, across business lines, general and project-specific, and assist in preparing reports/presenations of research

+ Assist GR professional as needed

+ Assist the Marketing group, as needed


Who You Are


Required Qualifications


+ No direct internship experience necessary

+ Current college or university student

+ Strong writing and research skills

+ Exercise responsible and ethical decision-making regarding company funds, resources and conduct and adhere to WSP’s

+ Code of Conduct and related policies and procedures

+ Proven track record of upholding workplace safety and ability to abide by WSP’s health, safety and drug/alcohol and harassment policies


Preferred Qualifications


+ Knowledge of the US political processes and governmental structure

+ Adaptability to a flexible schedule (there may be some night meetings)
