WHAT IS A SUMMER ACTIVITIES ATTENDANT?
The Lee Canyon Summer Activities Attendant position is an entry level outdoor position. The major responsibilities for this position are interaction with guests, and the safety of the guests while participating in outdoor activities in a high alpine environment. Lee Canyon offers a variety of activities which include archery, axe throwing, disc golf, guided hikes, arts crafts, and other outdoor activities.

The Lee Canyon Summer Activities Attendant position is an entry level outdoor position. The major responsibilities for this position are interaction with guests, and the safety of the guests while participating in outdoor activities in a high alpine environment. Lee Canyon offers a variety of activities which include archery, axe throwing, disc golf, guided hikes, arts crafts, and other outdoor activities.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING...
- This is an outdoor position; individuals must be at least 16 years old to work in this area.
- The Summer Activities Attendant will have excellent guest service and be willing to work with guests of all ages.
- Lead safe and fun outdoor adventure programs for youth and adults ages six (6) and up.
- The Attendant is customer service oriented which includes being friendly, outgoing, dependable, and responsible.
- The Attendant will have good communications skills to interact with our guests throughout the day and help set the tone for the overall mountain.
- The position is expecting to build and maintain guest relations.
- The Summer Activities Attendant duties include the set up and management of daily activities.
- Has a clean and welcoming appearance.
- Must occasionally make quick decisions regarding the safety of multiple guests.
- Must be able to maintain control and rational demeanor in emotionally charged situations involving guests and/or employees.
- Strict adherence to all state and federal employment laws, company policies and safety standards.
- Other duties as assigned.

HOW TO BE AWESOME!
- Must be 16 years or older.
- Guest service skills.
- Able to work in a team and individual setting.
- Knowledge of local area/resort.
- Bilingual a plus.
SUPERHERO DEMANDS...
- Must have the ability to lift up to 50 lbs and carry 50 yards.
- Must be able to work in a standing position for up to 9 hours.
- Must be able to work outside in temperatures above 70 degrees for up to 8 hours.
- Must be able to hike in mountainous terrain for up to 2 miles.
