POSITION OVERVIEW: As our company continues to grow our business, we are looking for an additional Human Resources Generalist to provide a wide range of HR support to our expanding business and group of employees. The Generalist will be responsible for supporting all HR functions including employment, staffing, benefits, performance/behavior management and compensation in addition to working closely with our Payroll department.



ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES, includes the following responsibilities, but not limited to:

  • Support end-to-end employee lifecycle management process.
  • Own onboarding to offboarding process including new hire engagement, processing I-9's, employment verification's, benefits enrollment & changes.
  • Create offer letters and compensation agreements.
  • Work closely with Payroll on compensation calculations for bi-weekly and semi-monthly pay schedules.
  • Provide front line support to employees as a go-to person for all employee queries on HR.
  • Facilitate & provide administrative support for performance management initiatives, employee engagement surveys, training and development initiatives.
  • Conduct Exit interviews and communicate overarching themes; conduct fact finding, explore solutions and make recommendations to address issues.
  • Review monthly invoices from benefits and submit for approval.
  • Coordination of managing health & 401K benefits.
  • Create ad hoc reports for management as needed.
  • Support, collaborate and partner with HR team on implementing HR systems, tools, programs, policies and initiatives.
  • Develop, streamline and enforce HR processes and policies for organizational effectiveness.
  • Assist with gathering information on regulatory and compliance reporting, compliance and legal audits.
  • Maintain compliance with federal, state and local employment, benefits & leave laws and regulations.
  • Maintain and update global employee handbook and dissemination of information.
  • Execute on ad-hoc projects as assigned by HR team.



PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:


  • HR knowledge: broad knowledge of HR functional disciplines (e.g. organizational development, talent management, employee relations, compensation / benefits, training, and management / employee development).
  • Business knowledge: understanding of business / financial fundamentals.
  • 2-5- years of experience in Human Resources; Bachelors Degree in Human Resources or related field a plus.
  • Experience working with a PEO desired.
  • Organizational and project management skills.
  • Knowledge of Federal, state and local laws relating to HR; PHR / SPHR Certification preferred.
  • Ability to establish rapport and credibility with all levels of the Business Unit in order to be a trusted advisor.
  • Ability to be an effective listener and problem-solver of people issues.
  • Ability to serve as spokesperson and role model for ethics and corporate values.
  • Comfort with ambiguity; ability to thrive in a matrix environment (accountability to HR function and BU management).
  • Proficient in Microsoft suite of product; Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced fluid environment.
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
  • High level of integrity and confidentiality required.

PHYSICAL and ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS

Standard office environment, equipment and tasks, including work at a computer terminal. This position requires partial sitting and walking throughout the day. Some travel may be required.
