District Overview



Kiewit's Water Facilities South group is one of Kiewit's leading water/wastewater districts specializing in constructing water treatment facilities, wastewater treatment facilities, and desalination plants. Although we are headquartered in Dallas TX, with regional offices in Miami FL and Atlanta GA, we also pursue various projects stretching across the country. We are looking for individuals who are passionate about infrastructure and committed to the construction industry as opposed to design. Responsibilities


  • Coordinate schedules, travel arrangements and expenses.
  • Greet visitors, organize and arrange meetings, schedule conference rooms and set up catered meals.
  • Coordinate and arrange travel; prepare travel packets (itineraries, maps/directions and meeting notes).
  • Assist with presentation preparation.
  • Prepare outgoing mail and correspondence, including e-mails and faxes.
  • Support the coordination for conferences and events (secure meeting location, hotel contracts, arrange for catering, and purchase prizes).
  • Maintain list of employees’ birthdays and send out e-mail birthday cards.
  • Investigate and visit local hotels as possible meeting sites for incoming guests, and make recommendations.
  • Provide reception support when required
  • Participate in the Fire Safety committee


Qualifications


  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio and Sharepoint.
  • Familiar with Adobe products including Acrobat and InDesign.
  • High school diploma and at least five (5) years applicable executive-level support experience, preferably in one of the following fields: engineering, construction or oil/gas/chemicals
  • Must have a minimum of 3 years’ experience managing expenses and travel in SAP Concur.
  • Must be a positive, pro-active, strong team participant with the ability to maintain strict confidentiality
  • Experience planning meetings in a fast-paced environment
