A Human Resources (HR) Generalist is a professional who oversees the human resources responsibilities and activities of an organization. They manage recruitment processes, employee relations, regulatory compliance, and training and development.

Job Specific Requirements

ONISTE POSITION
This position provides direct support to operations and supporting functions within the factory to ensure the site has the right talent and culture in place to help accomplish successfully onboard new employees, coordinate with managers to help ensure employees have the training in place to help teams excel, and create memorable experiences that instill a sense of pride in their roles. Serves as an extension of the front-line leadership team. Works with highly confidential employee information and is responsible for compliance with employee privacy laws and company policy. This position reports to the Human Resources Manager.
Duties and Responsibilities
Partners with the both the RPO and hiring managers for the hourly workforce to ensure a fair and inclusive search process that provides candidates with an exceptional experience, regardless of whether they are selected for the position. This includes streamlining site practices between departments, review hourly hiring data to conduct analysis and find trends.
Supports the hiring managers and applicants with the online application system to help address concerns.
Partnering with the various functional department & HR to help design and deliver high-quality learning experiences for employees and managers/supervisors.
Organizes and facilitates an exceptional onboarding experience to create positive early employment experiences. This includes shared responsibilities for facilitation of New Employee Orientation scheduling.
Collaborating with the Employee Resource Groups and grassroot team, this position works to organize meaningful employee activities to build positive morale and employee engagement.
Works with the team to plan, organize and manage employee engagement events such an annual employee appreciation week, service awards monthly celebrations, birthday acknowledgement and other community events.
Execute the employee engagement plan
Create the communications deck, monitor PowerPoints through both traditional & media tools
Lead the site engagement activities review meetings
Execute the monthly all hands communications meeting scheduling of the site
Drive the follow up and closure for engagement survey actions and skip level meetings
Create a tracking system for the employee experience feedback that shows the trends of completion, open/close items
Revamp site training matrix and create ad hoc reporting as need on various elements of stie training
Must be self-directed, resourceful with creative problem-solving ability skills
Ability to work independently to prioritize, multi-task, and meet multiple simultaneous process and project deadlines
Ability to work consultatively with hiring managers, supervisors and department administrators.
Ability to work with upset customers and potentially volatile situations in an effective, professional, and positive manner that de-escalates the situation.
Excellent organizational and time management skills; must be detail-oriented, effectively managing workflow.
Deliver presentations to various degrees of audience
Special projects and other duties as needed or assigned.
Qualifications
Requires Bachelors degree or equivalent experience
2+ years of related experience in manufacturing HR role
2+ years of service focused experience with demonstrated ability to resolve complex problems
Experience working with sensitive and/or confidential concerns.
Experience using complex databases (Workday, SharePoint)
Strong computer literacy skills, being proficient with Office 365)
Strong communication skills both written and verbal
High EQ and ability to build relationships
Exceptional interpersonal and relationship building skills
Exceptional presentation skills
