Title: Technical Writer
Location: Bedford, MA 02138 (100% Remote)
Duration: 3+ Months Contract (Possible extension / Possibly Temp to Perm)

Job Description
Introduction
You will work with a range of stakeholders to create a range of customer-facing and internal deliverables: process documentation, API documentation, help screens, email text, messages. As an Information Developer for Subscriptions & Services you will play a key roll in enabling the business to reach our stretch goals.
Autonomously, produce straightforward, useful technical knowledge content in a Product environment
Write documentation for existing and new infrastructure.
Develop information plans and execute against the plans
Interview team members and review software to collect the information
Design and create a series of SOPs for the Services business.
Create flow diagrams. Document systems flow, publish materials & SOP guides for the Services business
Determine the clearest and most logical way to present information for greatest reader comprehension.
Generate innovative ideas for content and workflow solutions.
Meet with subject-matter experts to ensure specialized topics are appropriately addressed.
Analyze information required for the development or update of policy, procedure and form documentation.
Review and/or copyedit content developed by other members of the team.
Build relationships with internal departments
To Be Successful You Will Have
Experience writing for end-users
Experience writing for a technical audience (application developers, programmers, system architects, or similar);
Designed and written multiple types of content
Successfully worked with SMEs to identify core content in a flexible business and technical environment
Experience structuring content for non-technical and technical users in a product environment
Have a basic understanding of ecommerce
Ability to successfully work across multiple functions
Superior stakeholder management and communication skills
Superior organizational skills
Superb communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with multiple tools. Experience with Mural, Jira, and Confluence a big plus
Ability to read APIs
Content planning skills;
Content process management skills;
Experience with content SEO;
Diagram creation experience;
User testing experience;
Bachelor's degree technical communication or related discipline
2-5 years' experience developing information products
A portfolio of work - preferable online
