Essential responsibilities and duties include:

• Able to manage tasks in compliance with company polices and operating procedures.
• Waste and document preparation; regulatory and safety review.
• Waste inventory management with Triumvirate designed software and computerized waste tracking system.
• Learn and retain a basic knowledge of daily work practices.
• Create cost savings by means of consolidations.
• Loading and unloading of vehicles in our fleet and third part transporters.
• Assist in waste transfer operations within our Facility & Ten-Day storage.
• Become familiar with packaging guidelines and disposal facility selection.
• Develop an understanding of OSHA regulations, Triumvirate s Health and Safety Practices, Triumvirate s Part B permit, and EPA regulations.
• Communicate effectively with end facilities as well as fellow employees to solve complex issues.
• Demonstrate supervisory leadership abilities through interaction with coworkers.
• Develop respect and working relationship with coworkers.
• Demonstrate the ability to be creative and solve unique problems.
• WOW! internal and external customers!
• Ability to work as a team player.
• Must be detailed oriented & attentive.
• Become forklift trained and be able to safely operate machinery.
• This is a safety sensitive position.
• This is a hands-on labor position.
  
  

Qualifications:

• BS/BA in Environmental Science, Chemistry, Biology, or Safety and Occupational Health preferred; but all majors are welcome to apply.
• Valid driver s license with the ability and willingness to obtain and maintain a CDL class B.
• Interest in the environmental field
• Ability to work as a member of a team as well as an individual
• Leadership experience/potential
• Strong communication, problem solving, and relationship building skills
• Successful completion (upon point of hire) of OSHA/DOT physical examination
