Job Description:



Prescient Edge is seeking a Mid Operations Support Desk Officer/ Intelligence Technician to support a Federal government client.

As a Mid Operations Support Desk Officer/ Intelligence Technician, you will:


  • Maintain day-to-day management, direction, technical control, technical review, coordination, and oversight of Counterintelligence and HUMINT staffing actions

  • Maintain accountability and tracking of staffing actions throughout the INSCOM Headquarters

  • Coordinate with other INSCOM staff elements to staff and deconflict operational actions

  • Track and update INSCOM G2X running estimates regarding tasks and initiatives for senior level briefings, meetings, and INSCOM Battle Update Briefings/Commander s Update briefings

  • Coordinate HUMINT, CI, and support service actions with subordinate Military Intelligence Brigades (Theater) (MIB(T)s)

  • Update and track G2X contact rosters and disseminate information across the G2X Enterprise

  • Track the global Disposition of INSCOM, HUMINT, and CI forces and operations

  • Develop, staff, synchronize, and coordinate INSCOM CI-related presentations regarding global Army HUMINT and CI operations for senior level activities

  • Ensure accuracy and compliance with relevant regulatory guidance

  • Coordinate specialized staffing actions and support for INSCOM G2X at remote locations

  • Develop, staff, and synchronize INSCOM G2X personnel actions, to include awards, position descriptions, and updates

  • Monitor the INSCOM G2X personnel manning status and include information relating to positions and functions in relevant briefings and presentations

  • Conduct operational coordination between DoD, INSCOM, Army Service Component Commands, other Government agencies, and DA for HUMINT and counterintelligence related tasks, policy reviews, initiatives, equipment fielding, and acquisition of specialized intelligence equipment

  • Conduct weekly, monthly, and quarterly operational briefings with Government Team, Branch, and Division Chiefs

  • Coordinate technical support for INSCOM G2X personnel as required, including systems access, communications access, and use of functional equipment

Job Requirements:


  • Active TS/SCI security clearance with CI Polygraph

  • Must be a graduate of any of the following Military Department All- Source Analysis Certifying Courses:
    • Army Counterintelligence Special Agent Course (CISAC)

    • Army 351L Course (or its predecessor)

    • Army 35E Course (or its predecessor)

  • Minimum of 8 years of experience as a credentialed Counterintelligence Special Agent or an Intelligence Officer

  • Minimum of 2 years of staff officer experience supporting an Intelligence organization, to include maintaining accountability of staffing actions, organizing senior-level meetings and briefings, coordinating personnel actions, and disseminating information across the command
  • Understanding of CI investigations, operations, and intelligence analysis

  • Must possess proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite

  • Must be able to work in a high-operational tempo environment

  • Must be able to work both independently and as a member of a team

  • Must be able to perform other duties, responsibilities and activities as needed

  • Knowledgeable of and demonstrates ability to apply Intelligence Community (IC) and DoD classification guidelines and procedures

  • Demonstrated ability to work semi-independently with oversight and direction

  • Demonstrated ability to use logic when evaluating and synthesizing multiple sources of information

  • Demonstrated understanding of interpreting analysis to include, but not limited to, its meaning, importance, and implications

  • Demonstrated ability to defend analytic judgements with sound, logical conclusions and adapt analytic judgments when presented with new information, evolving conditions, or unexpected developments

  • Demonstrated ability to produce timely, logical, and concise analytic reports, documents, assessments, studies, and briefing materials in formats including Microsoft Office tools (e.g. Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.), electronic/soft copy matrices, and/or web-enabled formats

  • Demonstrated ability to communicate complex issues clearly in a concise and organized manner, both verbally and non-verbally, with strong grammar skills

  • Demonstrated proficiency using Microsoft Office tools

  • Demonstrated ability to develop structured research including, but not limited to, obtaining, evaluating, organizing, and maintaining information within security and data protocols

  • Demonstrated ability to recognize nuances and resolve contradictions and inconsistencies in information

  • Demonstrated working knowledge using complex analytic methodologies, such as structured analytic techniques or alternative approaches, to examine biases, assumptions, and theories to eliminate uncertainty, strengthen analytic arguments, and mitigate surprise. Structured analytic techniques include, but are not limited to, analysis of competing hypotheses, devil's advocacy, high-impact/ low-impact analysis, red team analysis and alternative futures analysis

  • Demonstrated understanding of intelligence collection capabilities and limitations, to include but not limited to, technical sensors/platforms and human intelligence sources related to the position

  • Demonstrated understanding of evaluating collected intelligence reporting, engaging with collection managers, and developing collection requirements

  • Demonstrated comprehensive mission knowledge and skills that affirms completion of all developmental training and experiences for the labor category.

  • Demonstrated ability to communicate understanding from information that may be

  • incomplete, indirect, highly complex, seemingly unrelated, and/or technically advanced
  • Demonstrated ability to structure analysis based on trends in reporting and a range of analytic perspectives from other analysts, organizations, and intelligence disciplines

  • Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal oversight and direction

  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate and work with other IC members on information sharing, driving collection, and addressing analytic disputes and conflict resolution

  • Demonstrated ability to develop concise, insightful, and comprehensive products for defense intelligence

  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams in researching multifaceted or critical problems

  • Ability to provide guidance in selecting, designing, and applying analytic methodologies

  • Ability to use argument evaluation and validated analytic methodologies to challenge differing perspectives
