Glyde is seeking an experienced Corporate Learning and Development Management to design a curriculum that enhances learning in the classroom regardless of the employee’s level as well as train all corporate employees.


The Learning and Development Manager’s responsibilities will be to identify education gaps and design a curriculum that enhances learning in the classroom regardless of the employee’s level. This person will work with senior management to gather content and take that content to create courses for corporate employees, installers, and sales representatives.


  • Collaborate with sales, sales performance, HR, Legal and various groups to determine gaps in sales training and create or re-write courses that help sales reps through training courses to help make prepared to do their job
  • Analyze participation and tests within the course to ensure sales reps are intaking the content to help them on the doors.
  • Take content from various region-specific items and build courses to ensure sales reps are knowledgeable in the area they are selling within the country.
  • Create lesson courses and teaching materials, including tests, based on curriculum
  • Prepare training materials and training courses to educate the company employees, including sales reps, and installers, on things they can and can't say while knocking on doors or interacting with customers.
  • Hold classroom training sessions
  • Building sales compliance, Sales in the workplace, sales core training and further education courses for the various employees and where they are in their Glyde training.
  • Help with reporting and ensuring reps are up to date and compliant on all training.
  • Works to make sure content and course setup keeps the sales rep’s attention and engaged
  • Conducts performance evaluations that are timely and constructive.
  • to complete the required training
  • Create a curriculum to facilitate strategic training based on the organization's goals.
  • Keep abreast of training trends, developments, and best practices


  • 2+ years of learning and development, curriculum and training design or relevant experience
  • Solar Experience is Strongly Preferred
  • Applied knowledge of recognized instructional design methodologies for adult learning across a variety of learning styles
  • Proven ability to create training material
  • Passionate about problem-solving, planning, and organizing
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks appropriately
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy
  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically and prioritize competing objectives
  • Highly computer literate with proficiency in Google Workspace and related business and communication tools.
  • Demonstrated ability to train large teams in a professional setting
  • Demonstrated ability to create training materials and use technology to drive down training costs
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate professionally in verbal and written form
  • Demonstrated ability to manage training teams and achieve strategic objectives
