_Middle School Teacher Part Time _
In-person Middle School Teacher - Education and Instruction
Hours -
Monday to Friday in two hours block schedule per subject
7:15 a.m. - 9:30 a.m.
10:00 a.m. - 12:00 noon
1:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m
3:00 p.m.- 5:00 p.m.
Be able to teach Math, English, Science, and Social Studies
Have a second language - but not essential.
Job Duties
Each course subject is 2 hours in person. Plus, any additional students online if they are traveling to tournaments
Ability to integrate classroom technology into the instructional methodology
Establishing and communicating clear objectives for lessons, units, and projects.
Strong public speaking and oral presentation skills.
Develop teaching and learning materials for use in class, including lesson plans, exams, and assignments.
Modify lesson plans in our digital system and add materials as needed.
Ensure that students meet educational state standards and school
Performance goals for their grade level.
Teach all subject levels and grades.
Teach students in a classroom setting, managing their work output in the classroom and behavior on a daily basis.
Monitor and track student progress and grades.
Working with students one-on-one when they need extra help or attention.
Ability to read information from the NWEA to form the ESOL/Math path for our students.
NWEA testing - to be able to test a student and write goals.
NWEA to improve student academic performance.
Maintain relationships with parents and legal guardians of students in orde to keep them informed of their child's progress.
Work collaboratively with other teachers and administrators, including teachers.
Collaborate with other teachers in order to share best practices and provide meaningful feedback regularly.
Subjects matter in English, Math Science, and Social Studies at all levels
Keep your classroom clean and tidy.
Any other jobs assigned by the administration.
Enter student grades into our management system.
Coordinates with our other school to make sure they are pacing at the same level.
One journey to the soccer fields with the company van - 3:45 p.m.
