_Prime Line Distributors is an importer of selected specialty foods, from artisanal cheeses, fine cured meats, charcuterie, extra virgin olive oils, aged vinegars, imported pastas, truffles, wild mushrooms, San Marzano tomatoes, imported rice, imported flours, ancient grains, Italian espresso, and many more other specialty products. We deliver daily with our own fleet of refrigerated trucks with our divisions located in New York City, South & Central Florida, and Las Vegas. We also ship across the country and export to the Caribbean and Latin America._
Our company is hiring for an Account Manager in our Las Vegas Division. The Account Manager manages a geographical sales territory, ensuring customer needs are met, and budgeted sales and gross profit objectives are achieved/exceeded.
Job Mission
He or she will be part of an enthusiastic team whose sole mission is to dramatically increase our presence within regional multi-unit accounts, high end accounts and very large independent accounts across all segments of the hospitality industry.
Job Profile
An experienced sales talent, from a qualified competitor, and/or from a respected industry leader with a proven record selling branded and premium products including food related products to the top tiers of the Las Vegas hospitality industry.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum five-year extremely successful experience in a comparable position in the food industry.
Proven record of accomplishments acquired, selling branded and premium products to the top tiers of Las Vegas hospitality industry and with concentration and firsthand knowledge in hotels and restaurants.
Demonstrate accomplishments in promoting growth and profitability while developing and implementing successful solutions for clients.
Account management, personnel training, and strategy development to customer support and territory management.
Ability to prepare and deliver effective presentations while creating a very successful close ratio with a proven commitment to first-rate customer service and satisfaction.
Ability to perform variety of tasks effectively and deliver promptly on deadlines
Qualifications:
5 years of prior Sales experience within food or beverage industry.
Strong working knowledge of database systems operation.
Must be a team player with a positive attitude.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Self-starter, professional, goal oriented and able to handle multiple tasks.
Must have a sense of urgency and be able to work under pressure, be comfortable in a fast-paced, metrics-driven environment.
Intermediate computer skills to handle online ordering and digital sales platforms, MS Office Suite including Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word.
Bilingual highly preferred.
