Role and Responsibilities
Position Summary and Project Details: Samsung Mail In has an initiative to reduce out of warranty repair costs. There is a UB process to reduce the price of screen repairs and requires a complete review of the UB process and changes made to improve the cost, efficiency, and output of the UB process. Requires someone with experience in time studies with an aptitude to review the data and make proposals to modify the process to meet Samsung goals.
General Duties include but are not limited to: Performing time study analysis at Market St. location, reviewing the data, and making proposals to modify the process. Once modification is made, review the data to determine if goal was attained and make necessary changes, if needed.
Skills and Qualifications
Qualifications:
Industrial engineering degree or equivalent. Project management experience a plus. Would like the person to be located in the DFW area, if possible.
Internship Eligibility:
- Must be enrolled in an accredited University
- Proper work authorization
- Maintain a 3.0 or higher GPA
- Attend New Hire Orientation on first day
