P2P Computer Solutions is currently hiring a part-time Computer Technician. The position requires the candidate to be capable of performing technology related tasks in the store. This position will be based in State College, PA. This role primarily connects with our commercial clients and is a work-from-the-store hybrid role. This individual will work with walk-in service requests and as a commercial service technician. Help desk experience is a plus!
Applicant must have a minimum of 2 years experience, clean driver's license, be able to pass a standard background check, have outstanding customer service and communication skills, and friendly disposition. This position is part-time working 25 hours per week, Monday through Friday.
Responsibilities and Duties
Hardware repair
Install, troubleshoot and support Windows / Mac based computers and network infrastructures
Manage all aspects of networks
Troubleshoot Network & System Issues
Network, Wiring and Termination - Cat-5 / Cat-6
Manage Servers and Domains
Manage Self Hosted & Cloud Email
Set up and maintain Firewalls, Routers, and Access Points
Qualifications:
Previous experience as a Computer Technician
Knowledge of TCP/IP, Data Protocols, and Ports
Ability to prioritize and multitask
Deadline and detail-oriented
Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills
Reliable Team Player who communicates, listens actively, shares openly, cooperates, shows commitment, and works well with others.
