As a Cashier, you will be responsible for playing a strong supporting role in the creation of a polished yet unpretentious dining experience; one which will be savored long after the last bite is a memory.
Primary job duties include, but are not limited, to the following:
- Answer phone lines and follow through with guests and other requests following established policy and procedures.
- Accurately collect/receive payments from guests and perform all cashier duties for each transaction with 100% accuracy.
- Adhere to established cash control policies and procedures.
- Answer any guest questions and refer them, if necessary, to appropriate management.
- Adhere to established grooming and appearance standards, including maintaining a clean and well maintained uniform.
- Restock Grab & Go items at cashier station as needed.
- Maintain condiment and service station in a neat and organized fashion.
- Polish and restock silverware at cashier station.
- Other duties as assigned.
- At least six (6) months previous cash handling customer service experience.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate in English.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Polished appearance and demeanor.
- Ability to obtain and maintain full knowledge and understanding of company and department rules and regulations, policies and procedures.
- Skill in developing, leading and maintaining guest relations.
- Ability to read, analyze and interpret documents.
- At least 18 years of age.
Preferred:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Food and Beverage experience in a similar environment.
- Beginner skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Previous experience in a large, luxury resort setting.

- Work is performed in operational environment.
- Must be tolerant to varying conditions of noise level, temperature, illumination and air quality.
- The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
- Constant contact with executives, department management, applicants, employees and guests.
- Prolonged sitting or standing and mobility.
- Bending and reaching.
- Transporting, pushing, pulling, and maneuvering items weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Strong eye/hand coordination.
- Use of standard office equipment.
- Basic math.
- Ability to push and/or pull item up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to distinguish letters, numbers and symbols.
- Ability to comply with Policies and Procedures, Job Description, daily memorandums, chemical labels (MSDS) and other instructions.
