Responsibilities

Beaumont Behavioral Health: A bright and beautiful new 144-bed behavioral health facility, Beaumont Behavioral Hospital will provide a full continuum of inpatient services to our community, including specialty programs to serve adolescents, adults and older adults, and perform behavioral health assessments 24 hours a day. Additionally, programs for co-occurring behavioral health and substance use issues will be offered to meet the unique needs of patients. Position Description:

The Assistant Administrator assists the CEO in the operation of the hospital. Provides recommendations/guidance to management supporting administrative and facility decisions, sets objectives, develops plans, staffs, directs activities of assigned departments/areas of responsibility, provides professional level planning, reporting, analysis and consultation to support the goals and objectives of the organization, helps manage the hospital operations, may assume administrative responsibility for the hospital in the absence of the hospital’s CEO, ensure consistency of treatment and application of policy.

Qualifications

Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s Degree in a behavioral health area, marketing, business administration, or related field required; Master’s Degree preferred or equivalent combination of four plus years of education, license, and experience required.

Experience: A  minimum of five (5) years experience in a health care management position with extensive experience in behavioral health care by providing executive leadership over day to day operations including direct accountability to develop and execute business strategies; provide leadership for quality of care, staff development, maintenance of license and accreditations, financial performance and process improvement strategies.

In addition, detailed knowledge of psychiatric and chemical dependency treatment issues.
