Position Summary
If you’re looking to gain first-hand exposure to the professional services industry, learn new business skills and deepen your knowledge of your field of interest, Deloitte’s Pioneer Internship may be a great fit for you. During this six-week long experience, you’ll have the opportunity to foster business relationships with Deloitte professionals and acquire soft skills that can help you succeed in the modern workplace and global marketplace.
The Pioneer Internship is open to all eligible freshman students. Because of our desire to have a diverse slate of candidates, students who are female and/or Black or African-American, Hispanic or Latino, American Indian or Alaska Native, Native Hawaiian or Other Pacific Islander, or two or more races are strongly encouraged to apply.
Work you’ll do
As a Pioneer intern, you’ll gain business experience through hands-on learning and projects. During the internship, you’ll have the opportunity to build foundational knowledge, learn to articulate your ideas clearly, and develop strong relationships through training, mentorship, and ongoing feedback.
How you’ll grow
Our Pioneer Program’s immersive workshops and networking opportunities provide a view into the technical skills, professional behaviors, standards, and mindsets to help you succeed as a business professional. Guided by coaches and mentors who can help you to learn more about Deloitte and opportunities, you'll gain real-world experience working on meaningful projects. Beyond this exposure to real life projects, the program also delivers a variety of national and local learning and networking events. Our regularly scheduled learning and networking opportunities are designed to help you develop technical and leadership skills and assist in building your professional network. Qualifications
Pursing a Bachelor degree in a business, accounting, technology or related field (freshman standing)
Strong academic credentials (expected minimum GPA of a 3.3 at the end of the academic year)
Demonstrated problem solving skills
Effective interpersonal and communication skills; adaptive to change, creativity & self-confidence; leadership qualities; team-oriented and collaborative
Limited immigration sponsorship available for this role
The start timing for this position is June 2021
