About the job

Trust and Safety (T&S) is Google’s team of abuse-fighting and user trust experts working to make the internet a safer place. We partner with teams across the company to deliver solutions in abuse areas such as malware, spam, and account hijacking. We are a team of Analysts, Policy Specialists, Engineers, and Program Managers working to reduce risk and fight abuse across products, protecting our users, advertisers, and publishers across the globe in multiple languages.

Trust and Safety team members are tasked with identifying and taking on problems that challenge the safety and integrity of our products. We use technical know-how, excellent problem-solving capabilities, user insights, and proactive communication to protect users and our partners from abuse across Google products like Search, Maps, Gmail, and Google Ads. On this team, you will be a big-picture thinker and strategic team-player with a passion for doing what’s right. You will work globally and cross-functionally with Google engineers, product managers, and T&S teams, to identify, preempt, and fight abuse on our platforms. And you will take pride in knowing that every day you are working to promote trust in Google and ensure the highest levels of user safety. You will lead, inspire, and empower program managers.

Responsibilities

  • Set the vision and direction for a program by outlining goals and objectives, evaluating and providing oversight across multiple programs, identifying and mitigating systemic issues across the program portfolio, and defining program controls, governance, and standards.

  • Bring visibility and strengthen communication across teams, with executives, and other key stakeholders.

  • Enable execution across multiple teams and drive delivery across a portfolio of programs.

  • Partner with Vice Presidents/Directors, product leaders, and other cross-functional groups to align on strategy and roadmap, streamline processes, simplify execution, and manage Objectives and Key Results (OKRs).
