Omaha Public School is seeking a Chief Talent Officer.   Omaha Public Schools is the third-largest employer in the state, with more than 7,000 full-time employees who are involved in the daily operation of our schools. The teaching staff has an average of 10 years of experience and more than 63 percent hold advanced degrees.  Omaha public schools serve more than 53,000 young people in a welcoming, diverse school district community of which 18,000 students receive English Learner services. The Chief Talent Officer position is critical to the recruitment of teachers and support staff to realize the mission of preparing all students for success in college, career and life.  Omaha Public Schools works with gifted and talented students by providing a wide array of enrichment programs. Students have opportunities for advanced work in nearly every subject area, including all core classes, music, art and physical education.  The majority of graduates go on to college or technical schools.
