The Investment Analyst is responsible for supporting our portfolio management team in the development of our investment strategy, the execution of our strategy in client accounts, and maintaining the information and processes necessary for the successful completion of these functions.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Conduct regular and as assigned investment and portfolio research projects and stays informed of developments in the market
Work closely with portfolio managers in the management of client assets
Create asset allocation programs for execution with client accounts and provide recommendations to portfolio managers
Process trades, capital actions and maturities as assigned
Responsible for appropriate completion of paperwork and records maintenance
Participate in the development of investment strategies based on management’s philosophy and objectives
Manage less complex client portfolios with portfolio manager oversight
Monitor and update all Wealth Management client and prospecting materials to reflect current best thinking, as well ensure data and market information is current
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance or related fields required
Ability and desire to obtain the Chartered Financial Analyst(CFA) designation is required
Relevant experience through coursework or internship that offered exposure and knowledge of the investment market is required
Minimum of one year of prior investment or wealth management experience is highly desired
Fundamental understanding of fiduciary wealth management required
Proficient with Microsoft Office suite of software required
Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills required
Strong verbal and written communication skills required
High level of facility at data manipulation
Ability to work independently and multi-task
Detail oriented, flexible, organized, self-starter and team-player

Essential Functions
Sitting for extended periods of time.
