Senior Business Intelligence Analyst
Union Health is recruiting a Senior Business Intelligence Analyst to provide data analysis, modeling and forecasting for the Planning, IT and Finance Departments. The ideal candidate is highly motivated and has a work history that demonstrates proficiency with databases applications and tools, progressively responsible experience with business intelligence applications and experience converting data into organizational knowledge.

Union Health is recruiting a Senior Business Intelligence Analyst to provide data analysis, modeling and forecasting for the Planning, IT and Finance Departments. The ideal candidate is highly motivated and has a work history that demonstrates proficiency with databases applications and tools, progressively responsible experience with business intelligence applications and experience converting data into organizational knowledge.
Key Position Responsibilities
- Identify issues, trends and opportunities for UH to optimize revenue and market share growth
- Conceptualize and build creative data visualization dashboards to communicate business insights.
- Generate meaningful analytics from internal and external data sources to support decision-making
- Develop repeatable, efficient processes to model, forecast and measure key performance indicators.
- Research and prepare analysis for periodic discussions and reviews with departmental leaders
- Analyze system financial and operational position based on past, present, future, and budgeted levels that utilize variance analysis, benchmarks, productivity targets, cost, supply consumption, and established plan.
- Draft departmental and/or service line specific standard and ad-hoc reports; perform variance analysis and reports.
Education/Experience Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, IT or Engineering required; Masters in IT or Business preferred.
- 3-5 years of professional IT data experience in an enterprise environment; healthcare experience preferred, but not required.
- Proficiency using database tools (SQL, Excel, MS SQL Server, Tableau or other visualization tools.)
