Collections Specialist - Now Hiring

Job Title : Collections Specialist Description: Follows up on outstanding bills Stays updated with workers' compensation and med-legal billing & guidelines Works with management to resolve denial trends and payer issues Post notes within AllScripts Data entry; posting updated notes on all files that are called on Determines when a bill needs to be forwarded to litigation department Communication with insurance carriers on all accounts past 30 days for follow-up on denials, incorrect payments and past due accounts Take appropriate action on delayed claims by responding to a payer's request for additional verification in a timely manner Re-submit claims and file appeals as necessary Update insurance information as plans renew or change Provide accurate information, supporting documentation and effective communication to complete recovery process Track fee schedules and insurance denials to ensure fully allowed reimbursement Additional Skills & Qualifications: -Ability to type 40wpm with accuracy -High School Diploma Please apply below or send your resume to Bryce stein @[email protected] to be considered!
