Located on Capitol Hill, Labyrinth Games & Puzzles is DC's premier store for brainy fun. We are seeking someone new to join our team! This position is for a full-time customer service / sales associate in an upscale retail environment. You must love tabletop games and puzzles, and be ready to share that passion with customers!
Responsibilities include:
*Providing extraordinary customer service *Performing general retail associate duties *Helping with events in store and in the community *Teaching after-school game classes (currently virtual, but may resume in-person in the future)
Required Skills - Successful candidates will have:
*At least 1 year of retail customer service experience *Outgoing, fun personality *Excellent problem-solving skills *In-depth knowledge of many different tabletop games
Additional Skills - You'll have an extra leg up if you have experience in one or more of:
*Running Magic: The Gathering events and grading MTG singles *Event management/planning *Inventory management and/or database management *General tech-savviness
This is a full time position (approximately 36 to 40 hours per week), and requires evening (until 11pm), weekend, and holiday availability. Pay is competitive and commensurate with experience.
