Department: Administration Payroll Status: Non-Exempt
Job Title: Chief Financial Officer (CFO) Payroll Type: Hourly
Reports to: Owner/Optometrist

The Chief Financial Officer (CF) oversees all fiscal operations, including accounts receivable and payable; payroll; banking reconciliations; deposits; and insurance related responsibilities associated with Kirman Eye, ensuring practice stability and growth.

Job Responsibilities:
The CFO prepares monthly financial statements, maintains timely and accurate financial accounting records, and prepares statistical reports to track business performance. Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

Accounts Payables - check writing, online banking payments, reconcile invoices and statements

Bank Statement Reconciliation
Payroll - employee setup and processing
Employee withholding, Simple IRA Deposits, Colonial Life and Northwestern

Life
Daily Bank Deposits
Day Sheet and Reconciliation
Cleinman Benchmarking or Monthly Tracking and Reporting
Generate Financial Reports at the request of Owner, Accountant, and

Administrator
Optometrist Bonus Calculation - Production Base
Practice Group Health Insurance decisions
Practice General & Liability Insurance decisions
Cooperatively works with Administrator in budget development to support strategic practice goals, and implement short-term and long-range planning
Office Security - Systems
Oversee Receivables - Patient statements, e-claims and insurance postings
Demonstrate competence in working as a team member, supporting all aspects of the practice and delivering exceptional customer service.
