Job Title: Quality and Regulatory Intern
Location: Springfield/Wilbraham, MA
Start Date: ASAP
Compensation: 23.00 - 26.00/hr.
Intern with strong possibility of being hired on afterwards
Job Description:
You will work in the product development group focusing on the ekko acoustic cell washing and concentration platform. You will work with the mechanical design team on refining and documenting improvements in the current product.
Responsibilities will include mechanical design activities; CAD, drawing updates, assisting engineers with Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) development, assisting in creation of Piezoelectric Transducer (PZT) manufacturing protocols including robotic automation, assisting engineers with product testing and fabricating engineering and prototype disposables for R&D & Applications testing.
Students with strong analytical skills, experience with MS Office products (Word, Excel, etc.), mechanical design skills, familiarity with SolidWorks and basic fabrication skills who are able to work independently preferred
We are looking for students in engineering pursuing a degree in
- Mechanical or Biomedical engineering or equivalent
Job Type: Internship
Pay: $23.00 - $26.00 per hour
