Capture 3D, a ZEISS company, is seeking a Technical Sales Representative (TSR) working in one of 4 locations (Issaquah, WA/Farmington Hills, MI/Cornelius, NC/South Windsor, CT), to represent our fully automated and manual 3D Scanning and Inspection solutions. This is a hybrid work environment based on customer engagements, projects, and in-office activities.
Our diverse customer base includes both OEMs and suppliers to the Automotive, Aerospace, Power Generation (propulsion and ground based), Entertainment, and Consumer Goods industries, supporting a range of manufacturing process including casting, forging, plastic mold injection, stamping, carbon fiber, additive manufacturing, and machined components.
Capture 3D has offices in Santa Ana, CA (HQ), Farmington Hills, MI (Automated Solution Center), Issaquah, WA, South Windsor, CT, and Cornelius, NC. Capture 3D is the exclusive North American representative of the industry leading and German-engineered ATOS 3D non-contact measurement and inspection solutions.
Responsibilities and Duties
Engage existing accounts to identify growth system opportunities
Implement an organized and structured methodology for weekly work schedule to call on and address prospects, identified potential opportunities, and installed base customers
Articulate technology capabilities and process benefits of our solutions, organization, and products via presentations, demonstrations, cost benefit analysis (ROI), proof-of-concept engagements, and service projects
Meet monthly sales and corporate metrics
Communicate and update management on a regular basis
Actively seek ways to continuously improve the TSR experience and provide feedback to marketing and Sales Management
Update and maintain CRM software and produce daily/weekly/monthly status reports
Preferred 2 years of technical related sales experience
Preferred capital equipment sales experience
Ability to articulate technical information in a plain and concise manner
Dedicated work ethic and willing to work the hours commensurate with the sales position
Technical competence
Excellent presentation skills
Sound knowledge of PC uses and applications
Willingness to travel 10 - 30%
Knowledge of Engineering, Manufacturing, or Inspection/Quality processes is a plus
