Automation Assembly Technician / Machine Builder
As an Automation Assembly Technician, you’ll install automated systems and build electrical control panels and assemblies for custom automation solutions. Grow in your role as you work independently and with a team to build and install with a variety of components. Challenge yourself with complex problems that will grow your skills to find the right solution for each project.

Tasks:
- Proficient with schematics and mechanical drawings to build panels, machines, and systems
- Install wire tray and cable management systems, as well as bend and install conduit
- Pull wires / harnesses and route cabling / pneumatic tubing
- Work with Engineering to redline BOMs and drawings/schematics
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical components
- Operate basic hand and power tools, lifts and fork trucks / drive a pickup truck with trailer
- Maintain a clean work area, adhere to client and internal assembly specifications, and follow all safety and PPE requirements per client and internal policies
Required Qualifications:
- High School diploma (or equivalent)
- On the job machine building experience
- Able to read and understand mechanical / pneumatic drawings
- Detail-oriented and have strong communication skills
- Willing to travel (20%, domestic and international)
- Willing to work up to 50 hours per week in-town / 60+ hours out-of-town
- Able to work independently and with a team
- Valid driver's license
Preferred Qualifications (Not Required):
- Able to read and understand electrical schematics
- Panel building experience
- Conduit sizing, bending, and installation experience
- Knowledge of wire size requirements
- Experience with VFDs and 480V motors
