Position summary



As the Innovation and Eminence Manager you will own and drive the overall innovation and eminence strategy, using market data and insights to determine where the practice should innovate and/or be eminent. You will coordinate what we are hearing from our practice and the market with our asset and method/strategy teams to update our methods and assets to reflect innovative ways to driving results, and will promote our innovations and perspectives to the external market.



Work You'll Do



The Innovation and Eminence Manager will coordinate the innovation strategy to determine how the business approaches enhancing and/or developing new assets and services. They will develop a roadmap to prioritize activities to execute on this strategy based on market feedback and insights. The Innovation and Eminence Manager will work closely with leadership to develop and execute the strategy to create a more innovative culture and engage the practice in "innovation" discussions at all levels.



Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:


  • Own the following inputs that will influence our innovation and eminence agenda:

    • Competitor analysis for OT services and assets

    • Feedback from our project teams collected through periodic surveys and interviews

    • Feedback from our Change leaders through coordination of an "Innovation Council" of Partners and Managing Directors who will meet bi-annually

    • Academic research on our OT market offerings in collaboration with external thought partners

  • Use the inputs above to:

    • Make recommendations to the overall OT marketing and eminence plan to promote Deloitte's perspective to the external market

    • Advise on innovation opportunities to update our documented methods and asset roadmap

    • Coordinate a research agenda for our market offerings and leverage firm resources (academic partnerships, regular pulsing of the market, etc.) to collect and analyze data

    • Lead teams to publish 5-6 eminence pieces per year

    • Own and coordinate the new Change channel on Deloitte's Insights2Action™ platform

    • Coordinate with Marketing to promote eminence pieces via paid media and other channels

    • Own strategy for OT participation in relevant conferences to promote Deloitte as a thought leader and share eminence, and create supporting content

    • Coordinate with Marketing to keep the external Deloitte. com pages updated with the latest OT market offering content

    • Act as the voice of OT market trends and innovation to the practice through internal communications channels



Required Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's degree in organizational psychology, organizational development, I/O psychology or closely related.

  • 6+ years of relevant experience leading business transformation (proven understanding in business transformation methodology)

  • 6+ years of experience using strategy and innovation to lead organizational change management.

  • 6+ years in project management using organization skills, executing multiple strategic initiatives simultaneously

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future

  • Ability to travel 0-25%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve



Preferred Qualifications:



  • MBA/MS/PhD or other relevant advanced degree from a top tier program with a focus in organizational psychology

  • Experience leading and/or analyzing research data

  • Experience writing professional eminence / points of view

  • Strategy consulting experience, including driving and owning workstreams for innovation/strategy projects and programs with multiple stakeholders

  • Experience with conducting and analyzing market / competitor research

  • Knowledge of growth & expansion strategies and scenario / trend analysis

  • Strong executive presence with a client service mentality and ability to develop a high degree of trust with key internal client base

  • Experience facilitating ideation / brainstorming sessions and collaboration workshops

  • Strong oral and written communication skills and a high level of proficiency in developing executive level communications / presentations

  • Experience with creating research

  • Well-organized with the ability to handle several projects / clients simultaneously

  • Demonstrated experience managing small to mid-sized teams to deliver results
