Software and Services

• Minimum 8+ years experience in designing and developing scalable enterprise level solutions





• Knowledge and experience with Digital Asset Management systems





• Solid understanding of web applications development using Java/J2EE, Java frameworks and Linux and applications of frameworks and patterns





• Proven skills and Hands-on programming experience in Java/J2EE, Java frameworks and patterns





• Experience in building, orchestrating, and deploying highly scalable REST based stateless APIs/web services for web applications / mobile clients





• Ability to match technical approaches and investments to business goals and size technical efforts accurately with partners





• Excellent written and verbal communication skills





• Experience in Kafka, Elasticsearch and AWS is an added advantage





• Experience in handling implementation challenges in the area of architecture, design, integration, infrastructure and scale





• Ability to review the technical design and perform code review with the developers





• Experience with CI & CD tools like Jenkins, Maven, Hudson etc





• Solid knowledge of software development life cycle including agile methods and ability to adjust for what works best

Description

Join the IS&T Partner Solutions and Technology group as Software Engineer to drive and execute large impact projects. Ownership for executing the roadmap by deep collaboration with other IS&T development teams. This is an exciting position with opportunities to contribute to the vision on a brand-new platform. High visibility and long term impact, demanding a strong background in building re-usable and modular code, long term design thought for scalability and performance ability to think out of the box to tackle tough technical challenges. As a Software Engineer, you will work in the development team for architecting, designing and implementing various solutions on D.A.M. platform including in-depth integrations with Apple eco system. Design, Develop, Implement and Deploy enterprise level, high availability applications Work under aggressive schedules and with cross functional teams to achieve large initiatives Ability to drive a project from concept to delivery Excellent project management and communications skills Work closely with our business to understand their requirement, define the solution, demo the work in progress, and finally deliver the most adoptable solution.

Education & Experience

BS degree in computer science or information management plus 8-10 years of experience, or MS degree plus 6-7 years, or equivalent.
