Position Summary: This position is part of an expanding Growth Marketing team with the mission to discover, inspire and engage fans around the world. The Paid Search Marketing Manager will be responsible for working on marketing efforts globally for NBA League Pass and other Direct to Consumer (DTC) initiatives. Successful candidates will be able to develop and execute innovative paid search marketing campaigns to drive subscription revenue. Specifically, applicants must have significant experience managing paid search campaigns across Google and Bing. You are someone who is extremely comfortable with data and analytics and uses that data to make decisions. A testing mentality is a must as is experience formulating and executing a testing agenda. You are also interested in expanding your expertise into other channels both biddable and beyond. Success in this role requires both a comfort with individual contribution and partnering with and influencing cross-functional teams including, data, international, and 3rd party agencies.


Major Responsibilities:

  • Own global DTC Paid Search growth marketing approach and execution across Google and Bing Channel exploration and onboarding to drive innovative incremental revenue
  • Diving in to analyze trends and performance data to make effective recommendations and decisions
  • Manage internal and external relationships with cross-functional teams and agencies to ensure teams are informed and working collaboratively to meet shared goals
  • Own Direct to Consumer campaigns that contribute to broader NBA wide goals including Fantasy, 2K, and WNBA apps
  • Translate business needs into marketing tests and growth strategies
  • Effectively analyze results of initiatives then use those findings to influence future strategies and report performance to leaders
  • Leverage multivariate testing methodology to quickly test, iterate, and push forward the most impactful efforts


Required Skills/Knowledge:

  • 3-5+ years of Paid Search campaign management experience with 2+ years of direct platform execution
  • Experience leading complex campaigns with varying messaging, languages, and targeting requirements
  • Strong collaborator who can work effectively within a matrixed organization to influence and drive results
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to deliver high-quality written and verbal content
  • Strong tactical experience across paid search marketing platforms including Google and Bing
  • An interest in expanding expertise area beyond Paid Search
  • Data driven analytical thinker who is comfortable diving into data and pulling insights
  • Ability to thrive in an ambiguous, fast-paced setting without ready made processes



  • Bachelors degree in related field preferred, MBA is a plus
