Required Cashier in Jersey City NJ – Get paid up to $21/hour

Position : Cashier – Store Accounting

Work location : Jersey City, NJ – US

Job Types: Part-time

Hourly Pay: $15.50 – $21.00 per hour

Department: Retail Store job

Job Overview:

As Cashier you will work independently and as part of a Jersey City store team. There will be shifts when you are the only person in the retail store. You are expected to work at a pace that meets our goal of getting all deliveries prepared in less than 15 minutes and out to the Jersey City guest.

Responsibilities to include as Store Jobs in Jersey City:

• Serve customers with a smile


• Collects cash, checks or charge payments from guests and provides change and charge vouchers if appropriate


• Keep a clean and efficient work environment


• Support all company policies & procedures


• Help customers shop our Jersey City store and be able to find what they’re looking for.


• Ensure all Jersey City customers receive a fast and friendly checkout experience


• Prevent shrink with friendly service


• Working with delivery platforms


• Packing orders


• Cleaning, stocking and closing system of the Jersey City store at the end of the shift.


• The job is hard work, but lots of fun!


• Other duties as assigned from Jersey City store manager.

Qualifications for Cashier Job in Jersey City:

• Education : High school diploma or equivalent,


• Age: Should be 18 years and above,


• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English, can easily communicate with Jersey City customers,


• Requires willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekend hours,


• Excellent guest service skills,


• Basic math skills; ability to accurately count,


• Must be a team player,


• Ability to learn quickly in a fast-paced environment.
