WORK CONTEXT / BACKGROUND:
Black Lake Bible Camp and Conference Center (BLBC) was established in 1946. Its mission is be used by God to transform lives through Faith in Jesus Christ. BLBC is organized for the purpose of operating a Christian ministry through the providing of camping activities, conference facilities, and ministry programs. The programs provided by BLBC include spiritual education, Christian training, evangelism and missions.
PURPOSE OF POSITION:
To assist the Food Service department in preparing quality meals for groups of up to 400 people. The Food Service department is a critical component of Black Lake’s ministry to campers, guest groups, year round staff, and summer staff, many of whom work at Black Lake Bible Camp as their first work experience.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $17.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 10 hour shift
- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Holidays
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Olympia, WA 98512: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
Experience:
- Culinary experience: 1 year (Preferred)
- Cooking: 1 year (Preferred)
