ABOUT LOVESHACKFANCY
LoveShackFancy is a New York City-based lifestyle brand founded in 2013 by stylist, designer and creative director Rebecca Hessel Cohen.
The brand originated from Rebecca’s desire to design the perfect bridesmaid dress for her own ethereal summer wedding at her family home in Bridgehampton, surrounded by swaying apple trees.
From an initial collection of hand-dyed silk dresses, LoveShackFancy quickly gained a dedicated following for its charming pieces that whisper
ROLE OVERVIEW
We are looking for a hardworking and passionate Tech Design Intern to join our team this Fall 2022
This internship is an unpaid role and the candidate MUST receive academic credit as a requirement.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Organize production & runway samples, assembling / organizing materials for domestic & overseas factories
- Coordinate delivery & pick up of materials from vendors & factories, liaise between factories, suppliers & production office
- Worke closely with LoveShackFancy team to prepare for production with local & overseas factories
- Spec garments, assist in updating weekly WIP reports, create trim packages to hand to factory for production

- Meticulous, attention to detail, + ability to multitask
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to learn in a fast-paced environment, meet deadlines and adapt to changing priorities
- The candidate should familiar with competing brands in the market
- Must have clear understanding of the LoveShackFancy brand and aesthetic.
