  • Lead crisis communications planning and manage all crisis communications activities and responses; develop and deploy crisis and issues communication processes and tools and create position papers, statements, etc.
  • The Director of Corporate Communications is responsible for leading, developing, implementing and aligning communication in day to day communication efforts as well as crisis management situations for The Company driving a positive image and building strong stakeholder connections for the enterprise.
  • Collaborate with the board and internal SME’s as the lead person promoting our public communication on selected industry-wide policy positions (as well as The Company) such as, but not limited to, trade and immigration.
  • Ensures that communications positioning around sustainability, food security, nutrition and other key issues are fully integrated
  • Develop and feed content for social media, LinkedIn and other social media channels, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram as ways to communicate The Company’s messages around sustainability, stewardship, and positive community relations and impact.
  • Regularly acts as a primary content feeder to all online marketing activities of the enterprise
  • Serve as company spokesperson and handle media inquiries and follow-up
  • Develop corporate communications materials such as official corporate positions, issue responses, success stories, press releases and media kits.
