Position Overview Astrica Scientific is currently looking for a driven Sales Director who can play a key role in driving LED grow light demand within the cannabis market segment.  Target markets will include commercial cannabis cultivators and wholesalers. The ability to manage relationships with grow light distributors will also be a function of this role. We are ideally looking for an ambitious individual who has the ability to build, grow and manage a sales team as the company moves forward in this market.   Job Description: The Sales Director for the LED grow light team is responsible for the growth of Astrica Scientific’s market by identifying and closing new prospects as well as leveraging and developing existing client relationships. This role will work closely with the COO who ensures the highest client satisfaction ratings and delivery of superior work product. The LED Grow Light Sales Director will also collaborate on developing and executing key marketing strategies for the cannabis market. The Sales Director will be responsible for building a sales team throughout North America, and also for working closely with Marketing to drive brand awareness, concise and consistent messaging, and ultimately, top line sales growth. Key Duties & Responsibilities Key Requirements include : ·  Experience in the cannabis industry is a must; ·  Ability to quickly develop relationships both with existing clients and new prospects; ·  Forecast and manage sales pipeline; ·  Drive and execute sales goals; ·  Develop and execute business plans for key Cannabis accounts; ·  Demonstrated commitment to the Cannabis industry by keeping up with industry trends and laws; ·  Superb written and oral communication skills; ·  Proven success in sales presentations to a wide range of audiences; ·  Strong attention to detail; ·  Excellent research skills; ·  Strategic sales approach including the ability to overcome obstacles; ·  Adept in working in a fast-paced environment; ·  Proven ability to manage multiple projects at once; ·  Experience with RFP, RFI and RFQs; ·  Strong computer skills; ·  Dynamic interpersonal skills including the ability to collaborate internally and externally; Additional Qualifications & Outcomes: Increased sales Experience and proven results of sales revenue and market development Experience in all sales channels: grower/ distributor/ retail channels. Experience in project sales with project pricing and pricing models: direct-to-grower sales (commercial cultivation). Successful work experience with large accounts, and managing long-term customer relationships Support, drive and control sales channels, and sales teams Ability to understand what drives customers’ buying decisions, and possess the skills to capitalize on this to close deals. Understanding of the cannabis market, and ability to communicate market needs throughout the organization, including sales reps, product development and upper management. Sufficient technical ability to handle basic technical and product support matters, and delegate to appropriate individuals when necessary. Ability to operate independently, with a broad understanding of commercial and basic technical matters Ability to independently represent and run company interests in North America, including commercial and technical matters beyond sales (with the support of HQ). Sufficient technical inclination to handle basic technical and product support matters. Team building and team development Inspire credibility and Company values (quality, research driven solutions).
