Description Robert Half is collaborating with an expanding company in the Healthcare, Hospitals, Social Assistance industry to fill the position of a Payroll Clerk to support the daily functions of the Payroll department
The opportunity will be located in the Ann Arbor, Michigan region

The Payroll Clerk's job duties include data entry, reconciliation of timecards, paycheck distribution and providing statements to various departments
This Payroll Clerk opportunity is a long-term contract / temporary employment role.Your responsibilities in this role Reach out to employees via phone and email to obtain timesheet approvals Administer and distribute reports as instructed Enter data into spreadsheets and the payroll system Perform clerical duties such as filing, scanning, faxing, photocopying, etc Deliver instruction/training to employees regarding the use of payroll-related systems including entry of timesheets, online access of pay statements, etc
Data entry into spreadsheets and the payroll system Build and run custom reports Requirements Data entry, document management, file creation and previous records experience required Ability to easily learn new systems Previous payroll experience Highly organized and self-motivated Proficiency in Time Cards W-4 experience required Comprehensive knowledge of Payroll Functions Payroll software experience is a plus Attention to detail and proven ability to follow standard procedures is a requirement Excellent written, verbal and social communication skills Robert Half is the worlds first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies
