General Purpose of Job



This position will perform and deliver on routine assignments/projects while simultaneously leveraging and applying knowledge of their assigned area(s) of the payment operations function. This includes, but is not limited to, invoice management and analysis. The individual will drive quality standards, operating procedures and process recommendations aimed at continuously improving Procurements payment operations.



What you'll be doing




  • Maintains knowledge on current and emerging developments/trends for assigned area(s) of responsibility, assesses the impact, and collaborates with management to incorporate new trends and developments in current and future solutions.


  • Promotes and enhances organizational initiatives by positively influencing and supporting change management and/or departmental/enterprise initiatives within assigned area(s) of responsibility.


  • Performs and delivers on routine assignments/projects while simultaneously leveraging and applying knowledge of his/her assigned area(s) of responsibility.


  • Identifies and communicates to management process improvements that reduce workloads or improve quality for his/her assigned area(s) of responsibility.


  • Serves as a resource for purposes of further digitizing existing manual processes related to payment operations by leveraging existing or new capabilities within the payment platform(s).


  • Works with internal/external stakeholders in ensuring an effective, efficient and compliant payment processes.


  • Identifies areas of opportunity to maximize the preferred payment method(s) while validating that the solution meets business needs.


  • Maintains accountability for the processing, review and analysis of invoices and payment.


  • Collaborates and interacts effectively across internal business lines and teams as part of steady state and continuous improvement opportunity identification.


  • Ability to read, analyze and interpret both internal and external documents such as general media/publications, professional journals, technical procedures, governmental regulations, policies, proposals, and standard operating procedures.




What we re looking for




  • 4 Year/Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience (4 years of experience in lieu of Bachelor's) (Minimum Required)


  • 1 - 3+ Years of procurement/payment operations experience that directly aligns with the specific responsibilities for this position. (Required)


  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

Pay Range: $53,500 - $92,500



Actual base pay could vary based on non-discriminatory factors including but not limited to work experience, education, location, licensure requirements, proficiency and qualifications required for the role. The base pay is just one component of Lincoln s total rewards package for employees. In addition, the role may be eligible for the Annual Incentive Program, which is discretionary and based on the performance of the company, business unit and individual. Other rewards may include long-term incentives, sales incentives and Lincoln s standard benefits package.
