POSITION SUMMARY:

The Customer Service Representative responds to internal and external customer inquiries and problems by providing product and service information. This role is a strong support for our customers, providing exceptional service while maintaining a polite, friendly demeanor.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Maintains customer records by recording account information.
  2. Resolves product or service problems by clarifying the customers complaint, determining the cause of the problem, selecting and explaining the best solution to solve the problem, expediting correction or adjustment, and following up to ensure resolution.
  3. Prepares product or service reports by collecting and analyzing customer information.
  4. Contacts customers to schedule service technician appointments.
  5. Monitor builders' schedules and maintain service technician schedules.
  6. Orders all parts turned in by Service Technicians
  7. Contributes to the effort of the team by accomplishing related results as needed.


KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
  1. High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
  2. Minimum of 2 years' experience in a professional office setting.
  3. Working knowledge of Windows software, including Word and Excel.
  4. Computer experience in data entry and report generation.
  5. Working knowledge of PC-based accounting software helpful.
  6. Above average interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
  7. Excellent organizational skills, accuracy and attention to detail.
  8. Must maintain high standards of confidentiality.
