Job Description

Provides functional support to for the global Human Resource Management System (HRMS) with a focus on regional HR business needs. Evaluates existing processes to ensure efficient design. Leads at least one workstream during Oracle HRMS implementations, conversions, and upgrades. Inputs, maintains and retrieves information from the HRMS, including complex, highly impactful integrations points such as interfaces, workflow and reporting.Provides exceptional customer service to internal and external customers. Ensures consistency in process utilization and a high level of data accuracy and compliance. Coordinates and conducts application testing as additional patches and code are applied to different database instances. Works with developers to implement new or enhance current customizations and system setup.Manages process to move changes from development to testing to production. Works with Oracle and internal IT to resolve errors beyond the control of the HRMS Team. Functionally designs and defines new internal and external interfaces and enhancements.

Urgent Issues - helps gather details about issue.May assist with reporting issue and working with vendor/GSF IT to resolve.Helps create plan for testing/ troubleshooting to find resolution.Communicates with end users.

Data Fixes/Updates - analyzes data fix request to determine how to correct information in HRMS.Updates HRMS with data fix and response to end user within the defined team SLA.Provides input to analysts as needed.

Mass Updates - reviews mass update requests for accuracy and approval.Works with end user to resolve any errors with the mass update. Processes mass update within defined team SLA. Owns mass update CEMLIs maintenance.

Basic Setup - responsible for all basic setup requests for supporting region including organizations, organization hierarchy, jobs, positions, locations, grades, and grade rates.Confirms request is valid before processing. Provides input to analysts as needed.

Complex Setup - responsible for all complex setup requests for supporting region including qualifications, payroll, elements and element links, pay methods, benefits and wage scales.Responsible for AME rule setup, adding SITs to responsibilities in region and Forms Configurator setup and maintenance for region.

Restricted Setup - provides input on and supports testing for new restricted setup including flex fields, value sets, and personalization's

Security - provides input to security design and policy. Responsible for security updates including users, security profiles, responsibilities, menus, functions/task nodes, and request groups.

General Support - assists with general user support including process and system questions, coaching/training on how to use the system, and user errors.Analyzes request and provides accurate responses within the defined team SLA. Provides input to analysts as needed.

Audits - Design and develop data audits in auditing tools.Updates data in system as a result of audits.Creates and owns ongoing security audits.Takes action based on results of audits.

Workflow Monitoring - Owns workflow mailbox monitoring for regions.Troubleshoots issues and escalates with IT. Owns workflow error and application error resolution.

System Monitoring - Monitors interfaces and concurrent requests for area of responsibility. Ensures successful completion and delivery. Troubleshoots issues.Participates in regular regression test cycles including performing the tests, analyzing the results and investigating issues.

Reporting - Designs and develops ad-hoc reports for local and regional needs.Understands, creates and delivers ad-hoc report requests from end users within the team defined SLA. Supports end user use of EiS reporting tool questions.Creates new EiS reports to be shared with end users as needed.

Stakeholder Management - works to understand customer needs and meet SLAs. Manages relationships with project stakeholders on small projects

Controls EiS access for users.

Governance - works to understand customer needs and meet SLAs. Manages relationships with project stakeholders on medium projects.Raises emergency patch requests.Provides input on project prioritization and instance coordination.

Training - shares templates, training manuals and reference guides with end users. Updates materials as needed when policies and processes change. Participates as needed to train end users. Helps to create new training materials.

Interfaces/Custom Build - Gathers requirements for regional CEMLI needs. Drafts design documents (MD050) for new/revised local CEMLIs. Creates test plan and performs testing for new local CEMLIs. Implements solution for local CEMLIs.

Required Education and Experience

Bachelor's degree in business, HR or related field, required

5-7 years experience working with an HRMS system, required

4-6 years maintaining an integrated HRMS application supporting multi-state or international locations, required

HR/HRMS Certification (SPHR/PHR), preferred

4-6 years management reporting on a relational database, required

2-3 years maintaining database interfaces, required
